Our Story
« QG Enterprise » (in collaboration with an international network of well respected and experienced professionals) provides a wide range of consultancy services in the field of event related entertainment, with a specialization in the booking of international music artists.
Back in 2005 Quentin booked Sheila E as headliner for the opening show of a major Summer event in the heart of Brussels. It was Sheila E’s first European solo performance in over 18 years and it turned out to be a HUGE success. After the show Sheila asked Quentin: “Q, could you get me other gigs here in Europe?”. Quentin had been thinking for a while about moving from the events business into the music business, and Sheila’s question turned out to be the final push he needed to resign from his job as project manager and start working as an independent agent/consultant under the name QG Enterprise.
Fast forward to 10 years later and QG Enterprise has established itself as a reliable booking agency representing some living legends, including Sheila E and Larry Graham. Quentin has been joined by his London based sister Savina, who’s in charge of the artist liaison and business development.
QG Enterprise’s current core business is booking Soul/Funk/Jazz/Blues artists for tours and festivals, mainly in Europe, but also beyond. Over the years QG Enterprise has built a nice network and has had the privilege of placing some of its artists at some of the world’s best known festivals including North Sea Jazz, Montreux Jazz, Jazz à Vienne, Jazz à Juan, Nice Jazz, Istanbul Jazz, Bluesfest in Australia, and many more.
In its first 10 years of business QG Enterprise has distinguished itself from other booking agencies by providing a personal relationship with the artists they work with. Most of the artists QG Enterprise works with, consider Quentin and Savina like family. They specifically appreciate the fact that they are passionate, sincere and hardworking detail oriented perfectionists.
One example of the consequences of this close collaboration is that Larry Graham asked QG Enterprise to also do his tour management (outside the US) and provide co-management. This lead to Quentin co-executive producing Larry Graham’s 2012 album “Raise Up”.
In addition to representing “living legends” QG Enterprise is now also expanding into representing new, young and upcoming talent and developing creative new projects that allow these young artists to collaborate with some of their idols, and help all those involved finding access to a larger audience.
In addition to booking artists, QG Enterprise also provides event, movie and music related consultancy services for events like the annual CCB Awards (the Belgian “Oscars” of the advertising business), film festivals, etc.
